**Update OCT 17th, 2013 - My SA leaves for GL in 2 weeks & 3 days - ugh!!! Having a tough time knowing that he'll be leaving...But I know that I have a LOT of support here :) <>br/>
: On March 28th, my son DID enlist into the US Navy! He leaves November 5th for Boot Camp and will be a Religious Program Specialist! He actually got his FIRST choice and I couldn't be prouder!!! On Monday, March 4th, 2013, my son made the monumentous decision to join the United States Navy. He currently is a Sophomore in College and has a dream of one day becoming a Navy Chaplain! I wish him every thing that he dreams of becoming and he has ALL of my love & support! This couldn't have happened at a better time in his life! What an adventure this is going to be...for BOTH of us :)

    Welcome to NavyforMoms.com.  My name is Ronny and my son has been in the Navy since February of 2012.  He is currently stationed in San Diego with a Helicopter Squadron.  He is an Aviation Structural Mechanic.  I hope you find all the info you are looking for here, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.  My son is 3rd Generation Navy, so I do know a little about the Navy..:)
