Profile Information:

A little about me:
I'm a mother of 2, wife of 1! My daughters are 18 and 9. Born and raised in OK and now call Texas home! Some of my interests are: *helping others,* attempting crafty things, containers, gardening, woodworking, Spring, organizing things, painting, summertime in our shop with my hubs, my dog is pretty cool, Christmas, fairy gardens, working on cars, physical labor, did I mention containers, things that smell good, being a ninja (I'm really good), finding unique ways to avoid going outside in the month of August (because Texas), psychology. And of course supporting our military!
I am here to support my
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
At Boot Camp now
When I heard “Navy,” I...
was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
Can help her reach for the stars! She will also learn confidence and brotherhood/sisterhood.
Our Navy experience so far...
has presented us with many questions.

Divisions 139 and 140 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 (BST) together, so look for others with loved ones in either division. Write to your recruit and ask when Battle Stations-21 (BST) will be so you will know when to expect the "I'm a Sailor!" call.

    Tater.in.Texas,

I see you recently joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!!  We are a close, friendly, supportive group of Moms and look forward to getting to know you and your sailor.  I see you are new to N4Ms and your daughter is in boot camp now?  Please feel free to jump in and join our conversations on our group page.  You can ask any questions you may have, talk freely about your feelings, fears or concerns, or just chat about life.  We are all in different phases of our daughter’s Naval careers - from newbies to those whose daughters have been in for several years - from officer to enlisted!!! We support all our sailor girls and each other as well. Not just during the Bootcamp days but the weeks and months following, as they go off to school, first duty station, or first deployment.  Let us support you when you're missing her, lend an ear when you need to vent, and celebrate with you when you want to brag!!  Again, Welcome Aboard!!!!!

There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.
