    Welcome to N for M's and the Navy.  You learn more as they progress. My DS is not a big talker...I have learned more when we have opportunities to visit with his mates!  Most people were surprised when he joined the Navy.  He doesn't complain and is growing as an adult. He has found a job he really likes and a goal and path he is committed to reaching for.  He has made friends who support each other.

    Val - I saw you mentioned your son might be going to NY for Prototype. It is possible they have the officers going there and still have the enlisted going to GC. I have no idea, but you might have different information. It will be interesting to find out once it is time for your son to head to Prototype. I knew the officers went through Power School, but I wasn't aware that they went to Prototype as well.
