    Welcome to NAVYforMoms.com!

Head to “Settings” on the main page right away to add a profile image (no last names visible, please) and complete your Profile. Then - and this is important! - read these Community Guidelines and this Operations Security (OPSEC) Checklist, for the safety and privacy of all our Sailors.

Then jump right in!  Browse around the site and check out the groups and the information in their Discussion Forums.

Join this group for boot camp moms, where you'll also find a group for your Pass in Review (graduation) date; and this one for PIR Reference Information.

Get a head start during boot camp by joining groups for, and learning about, your Sailor's occupational specialty and "A" School; and later your Sailor's duty station and/or Navy ship and homeport. You can also join groups for your own state, region or home town and interests from getting ready for deployment to care package ideas!

Please say Hi when you join a group, and feel free to ask any and all questions - everyone was new once, and there is no "dumb" question.  This site was created by the U.S. Navy just for you, and we look forward to getting to know you and your Sailor.  Welcome to the NAVY family - we're so glad you're here!!

Please note - there are blue hyperlinks up above.  Click on them and they will take you directly to the groups.

HawaiiNeil - I love pineapple!! Especially fresh pineapple!. Thanks for growing them!

Welcome aboard here at N4Ms! I am one of the veteran moms who sticks around and offers encouragement and support on the BC Mom group and a few others. Be sure to come join the Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) - Navy For Moms group. That is the best place to ask questions, to read information about BC and just get connected.

This site is old school, set up by the Navy for us lonely & sometimes worrisome moms. Unfortunately, it is not a technologically advanced as some online sites are, so it can be difficult to navigate on a mobile device. I much prefer to log in on my computer and I don't have much issue navigating to the various groups and main page. If you are using your phone, it may be helpful to put it into Desktop mode and then you can see the full screen of the webpage better. (It will just be super tiny!). Any place you see blue letters, such as in B'sNukeMom's post below, those are hyperlinks to other pages on this site and occassionally the internet such as with Informed Delivery - USPS - (that is a link to the web page for the United States Postal Service Informed Delivery which we often recommend you look into as you are awaiting news from your SR (seaman recruit).

May you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! It is hard to be separated from our kids on the holidays, but I shared this in the BC Mom group. -"Focus your attention on Prayer and Good Thoughts rather than Loneliness". As much as we are missing our loved one, they are missing us as well and doing their best to not be homesick.
