I received your friend request to join the Christian Navy Moms. We would be glad to have you join, however, that is a private group and since I have not seen you post anything in the BC Mom group or such, I would like to visit just a bit before I "approve" you into the group. Since many of our groups are public, our site is open to anyone to stop by and just join, so I am just doing my due diligence as the primary moderator for that group. 

I also noticed that you have joined the Moms's of Navy Daughters and Sub Moms. Am I behind the times, I did not think women were still allowed on Subs, so I am interested in hearing your SR (seaman recruit)'s story. Also, there is another moms of daughters group that is more active that I can share that information with you as well.

Berenis, I am glad to see you posting in the BC Mom group. I also see you must have accepted my friend request. My apologies. I am not notified when someone accepts my friend requests, only if they ask to be my friend. And I have been busy with family in town for a week. I will send you a private message shortly. Hello!!!  I see you joined Moms of Daughters 2 recently and somehow I missed getting the notification!!  I'm sorry this is late but I do want to welcome you to our group!!!  We have been a little quiet of late but we are a friendly, supportive group of Moms and look forward to getting to know you and your sailor.  Please feel free to add any conversation on our group page.  You mention having a son in week three of bootcamp but also a sailor who is thinking of joining.  I also have both a son and a daughter serving right now, and another daughter is a Navy vet!!  You can ask any questions you may have, talk freely about your feelings, fears or concerns, or just chat about life.  We are all in different phases of our daughter’s Naval careers - from newbies to those whose daughters have been in for several years - from officer to enlisted!!! We support all our sailor girls and each other as well. Not just during the Bootcamp days but the weeks and months following, as they go off to school, first duty station, or first deployment.  Let us support you when you're missing her, lend an ear when you need to vent, and celebrate with you when you want to brag!!  Again, Welcome Aboard!!!!!
