A little about me:
My name is Azsia (ah-jiah) and I am married to a Sailor. We are high school sweethearts. We both come from the state of Hawaii and I love my home. My husband just joined the U.S Navy in July 2011 and all this is new to me. I just want to make friends and get support in learning the military way of life.

The Navy offers opportunities that...
So far the most important thing I learned was that having a strong support system is key. Not only for me as a dependent but for my husband as well. During boot camp I wrote my husband every day so he would get mail every week day. He loved it knowing that I was still here for him. I also had support from my family when I had those down days and I missed him so much. They help me get through the first month without him.

Thank you! I have been writing everyday :) I am on the list and I can't wait to see him:) I keep my phone on me 24/7 I live for that call and I would hate to miss it:( I'm sorry you missed yours that must have been hard. With all the holidays the mail has been somewhat crazy but me and his family got the information sheet with a short letter on the back and he said he had started writing (that short letter was everything to us) ..what time of day did you recieve your calls? I just wanna be ready! I'm so excited to hear anything from him.
