A little about me:: I have three amazing children and two beautiful grandchildren. My middle daughter joined the National Guard four years ago and my son(the youngest) left for GL on Aug. 19. I have shed many tears but now, I am their biggest cheerleader.

The Navy offers opportunities that...: I am new to the Navy experience but so far I have learned that the Navy is a chance for my son to explore the world while serving his country. It will give him a chance to find his way in life and stand on his own two feet.
Our Navy experience so far...: It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi zette!! Nice to meet you!! How have you been holding up so far? This whole thing is brand new to us. My older son (Blake) is my SR. Have you gotten a letter (not form) from your son yet? I see you're in NC, we're from WI - right on the IL/WI border. I really don't go on here too often but am CONSTANTLY checking my email on my phone to read all the posts in our PIR group & in the Boot Camp group...sorry it took so long to respond to your friend request! :0)
