I am a mother of three sons and live in the Chicagoland area. My "middle" son - he is a twin so it is arguable that those seven minutes count - will graduate boot camp on October 7th and will receive his education in South Carolina as a Navy Nuke.

    We're planning on going to the airport but I don't know how long we'll stay - Andy thought they would be leaving at 2 am for S. Carolina - I like my sleep and I don't sleep well in hotels so I can see us staying until midnight or so....

    Kimberly, I'd like to take his laptop also.  Did you put your stepdaughter's in any other type of case or just the laptop case?  (Example:  backpack?  seems like I read something about solid black backpacks being allowed).  I'm so glad you've been through this before!!!!
