    It all depends what is rating is(job) There are different locations for A School all over. When he signed up he was told where his school was.If he didn't mention anywhere else maybe he is staying there at Great Lakes.

      Whe my son was in A School he would text daily. Such a nice change from boot camp.My son emails now that he has a ship email address. Are you on facebook? Boot Camp and A school have facebook pages.The boot camp page posts pix of the PIR. Most likely all the ships have facebook pages too.
