A little about me:: I am probably older than most Navy moms. (I am 55) I have worked for the State of Illinois for 32 years and looking forward to retiring. My husband and I are building our retirement home! I am going to miss my son, but am excited for him too!

How is your son doing? Kelly gets to come home and visit us on the 12th of August and stay for 2 weeks. Then she goes back to Gulfport for a month and then to VA. Her sis got into the nursing program at John A. Logan so we are hoping that works out for her. Our son is a grad student at SIU.

HI How are you doing? How is your son liking the Navy? Kelly likes it quite well.. She was home in Aug. to visit us. Then she went back to Gulfport and is learning to shoot a gun and a rifle and doing well at that. Next she goes to Little Creek in Virginia. We are in Carbondale, so not that far from you.
