My name is Jennifer.I am a mother of four. Samantha is my oldest daughter and leaving for bootcamp in May.
I am here to support my
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
Waiting to leave for Boot Camp
When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
My husband served in the Navy for four years. We were only eighteen years old, with Samantha leaving everything behind. We had great experiences and grew up in those four years. Some times were tough but all in all good.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
Hey Jennifer! So glad you found N4M's. I am pretty new here too, but it has been a godsend! It really does help to know you are not alone. Just reading other moms post about the feelings you are feeling too is comforting to know someone out there actually understands. And we all have THOSE days.. just when you think you are getting stronger something will throw you back and the tears come so easily again. Vent, brag, cry.. it doesn't matter. I have done it all in just 14 short days and nobody yet thinks I am crazy! The women, support and resources here are never ending.
Still haven't gotten a friend request to go through..look up in the right hand corner in the box that you sign out, go to inbox, alerts, friends, messages, etc.. see if there is a friend request pending there??
got your message about Sam carrying the div flag! I can't wait to see it..don't know anything about it other than Erin commented she is involved.
Don't know when your hubby went thru orlando..when I went through we didn't have integrated divisions. I was in K035, graduated march 1985.
