My son has been on shore duty over 2 1/12 years now.  He has been trying to get orders since April, but everything he picks, is denied.  Now it has been 3 months and they are saying he is "Needs of the Navy"  meaning they will pick his orders?    He has only been in 3 years, so this is our first time picking orders (my husband and I were both in the navy, but things have changed in 20 years!)  Ha…
