Yes! I get him back finally! It's been a roller coaster ride for me lately. Haha. I'm doing good right now. I'm finally working!!! And omg, how exciting for you two! 5 months seems forever from now, but it will be here before you know it!! We proved that during boot camp :).... you should add me on Facebook :)... well if u like right. Hehe. Just because he'll be back soon doesn't mean I won't get on this anymore. Not as often maybe, but I will!

Hey! How are you?! It's been a while!

Yeah, we got together a few months before he left for boot. We've been friends since we were little. :]

How bout you guys? How did you meet?

So do you work or go to school here?

WOW. I thought 5 months was bad...Hahaa. I've heard Nukes have a lot of specialized training though.

A friend he met in A school was also from California. Just a few hours north of base, and she got stationed here too. So it definitely can happen! As always though prepare for the worst, hope for the best, right?

He's been in for a year as of last month. It's weird to be here, officially dealing with work ups and deployments. It seemed so far off before. But honestly, boot camp prepares not only them, but us for it as well. Two months of only letters was torture but it made me appreciate any communication I could get.

He's an HT (hull technician). He's attached to the USS Dewey atm. What rate is your guy?

Is his A school here in San Diego, or are you waiting here for him to finish? I stayed here while my guy was in A School (5 months!) in Great Lakes. I remember being so excited just to be able to text him after boot! hahaa

We got super lucky when his first orders were for SD. We're both raised here, so we get to stay close to family and friends. :]

Well the thing is, he turned 21 right when I turned 18 so he kind of has different idea to what I do, you know? I'm sure he wants to be out of his parents already and me well I feel perfectly fine here haha. We were talking about marriage yesterday :O... I said how about in 3 years nd he said it was too far out and we both agreed on next year. I personally prefer for us to just move out together, then later get married, but he says he wants to do things right.

Well hopefully all goes as planned for you two! Your guys story reminds me of my brother's nd sister in law now. They were bff's for like ever! since elementary till out of high school. She actually dated my brother's best friend her 4 years of high school and right after graduation he left her for another girl and left to the marines .. my brother and her woul still go out and party and once they turned 21 they realized there was more than just friendship and now they're married with a 9 month old baby :)!

and yes, they have their A school graduation.. Nothing like PIR though. nd yes, I want to work all summer long! Never have I worked in my life :O

Right?! Jerks. Lol.

And awwh, I'm glad you're almost done with school. I just graduated from high school last week so I still have a long way -__- .. awwh, would you move out there?! How cute! I'm kind of glad he chose reserves because Idk if I'd be ready to move out with him and stuff. He does say we're getting married and so does his family lol. But I want to be at least 21 when that happens. So maybe in 3 years you'll see pictures on here. Hehe.

Yes, 4 months till I mark the best year of my life :)..

And omg, I hate it! Like what's so bad about pictures?! LOL

And well I'm sure it won't be as bad since you guys been friends for like ever! haha.

Nd well he's doing reserves, so he'll be stationed here. :)! he has to leave like once a month though. Have you guys talked about plans for the future?

At 5:05pm on June 13, 2012, Team Leo <3 said…

Ah, how exciting! I'm happy for you two :D! And omg, yes! It feels like a month ago we were going crazy waiting for letters. As a matter of fact, today we'd be receiving one :)! But I love my texts lol.

And, ahh! How exciting! Enjoy your trip! You'll be out there while my sailor and I  celebrate our 1 year anniversary :).. Take lots if pictures. Mine hates taking pics so I only got 2 with him -__- ..

So when do you guys plan on telling the fam about you guys?

At 3:17pm on June 13, 2012, Team Leo <3 said…

Hey! Omg, I haven't logged on this thing since my boyfriend graduated! :O

Thanks for the comment on my picture :D. I promise soon you'll have one with him in his uniform and you right beside him :)!

How's it going now? For me it's way better. Back to normal! LOL. I get a text every morning before he leaves, call during his lunch, and then I get to talk to him the rest of his day off. Unless he has something else to do. Haha. Thank goodness we haven't argued, or nothing (We hardly ever do. Not saying we don't because that wouldn't be human like. Haha.)

Well keep me updated and don't loose contact because it's always nice to have a friend to talk to when it comes to the Navy love life :)
