THE BOX

Yesterday, I received the box that had all her belongings in it. But it also had all the things that were on the list for my daughter to take. We bought a lot of stuff that was on that list including a swimsuit. Know how hard it is to find one of those this time of year? Why did they send all that stuff back? It was terrible getting the clothes that she had on. I miss her so bad!!

This transition may be more difficult than I thought it would be..

I'm constantly second guessing myself and it drives me insane! I have good days and bad days just like everyone else but here lately it seems to be more bad than good. I miss my husband so much that it hurts. We very rarely went a day with out eachother and now we have to go months w/ out seeing or speaking to eachother! The boys don't understand fully what is happening. My oldest is doing better than my youngest. They keep me going. I know if I didn't have them things would be 100 times worse.… Continue

I am not surprised he wants to join because he has talked about it since jr. high but hasn't pushed it in any way. He recently had a very good friend who died and I am assuming this is a reaction to his friends death. I have done a lot of researching on the processes the mena nd women go through. One thing I have def. learned--lots of abbreviations--help. Anyway, I am very very concerned he is making a…

She Shipped Out Yesterday...

My baby shipped out yesterday! What an experience! I went to the same hotel, stayed in a room down the hall. I took her out to eat the night before. The next morning, I went to the MEPS station and hung around while she went through the processing then I was able to record the 'swearing in'. Then, being the clingy mom I am, I couldn't stop there. I went to the airport and watched her go through security. I know that probably made it worse on me, well, I KNOW it did, but I just had to see her as… Continue
