need a passport but dont know how

I just found out I am going to need a passport in order to go with my husband. I did some research online and found that I can expidite one to get it here faster but that is very costly. Is there anything the military can do for me or am I on my own with this.

Wow...I am so proud and so impressed!!!  He said that he passed his swim test and has gained 10 pounds already.  His division was the first to receive their dog tags too. Countdown to Bootcamp

My son is leaving for Boot Camp on May 23rd.....I will be there when he takes oath and leaves but I'm worried about how hard it's going to be to say goodbye to his family and friends and I don't know if I can be strong and not break down which will make it worse for him.

Happy Mom/ daughter / Ship 9 Div 205

Hello all,

This my first post... I was extremely happy to receive my daughter's letter and to talk to her on the phone.  She sounds absolutley great.  I'm glad because if she were to tell me that she wants to come home or that she doesn't think she can continue on; it would just break my heart, beacause I don't think I would be able to take it.  The funny thing about this is that my son was in the Navy and I didn't go through all of these emotions.  I mean I was sad to see…

I was just wondering if anyone could answer my question. My son sent home his drivers license. Is there a reason why he did not keep it with him or do they have to send it home with their belongings. Just wondering..... He also sent home is Religious medallion. Why?

Thank you.

The Countdown Begins....

11 days till our son leaves for Great Lakes. We had his party this past weekend and it was amazing how many people showed up to say goodbye. Everyone had something wonderful to say about him and we were just beaming with pride. Today he is at the Recruiters for another meetup; he has been asked to attend a recruiting session at his high school next week and he was honored to be asked. It will also give him a chance to say goodbye to his…

Left for BC today

My new son-i-law left for the Navy today.  He and my daughter were married last Friday.  Very emotional day for her (really for all of us).  She will be living with us and finishing her master's program for nursing while he is in BC and A school, then not sure where he will be.  We are from the midwest and just wondering where he will end up.
