Navy Federal Credit Union

Good Morning - I am wondering if anyone else has had issues with Navy Federal Credit Union.  Our sailor is on deployment and before he went we went to a lawyer to have power of attorney paperwork done so that we could help him do things while he was away.

We didn't have any problems until recently.  Our sailor was online and locked himself out of his account (guess he forgot his password) so I tried to go online and reset.  Wasn't able to.  Took our power of attorney paperwork to the…

Sending Letters

My Son has PIR coming up on September 15th, when will be a good time to stop sending him letters? I've read that the last two weeks of BC can be very busy. I don't want to write more letters than he will be able to receive or have time to read. Any advice will help. Thanks.

Daughter leaving for boot camp on August 31, 2017

Hello everyone, I haven't been posting on this site although I have been reading all of the questions and answers that have been posted. I've learned very helpful information. We found out today that my daughter will be leaving on August 30 for boot camp. I'm not sure which group to join- leaving in August or leaving in September. I thought maybe both to be safe. Her recruiter told her that graduation would be in 8 weeks of her ship date but I've seen on here it would be 9 weeks. I'm…

Stay strong

It's almost been a month since my Daughter left for Navy boot camp- we have a lot of military in our family all men, she will be the first women to serve our beautiful country. I'm reminded of her call to duty each time I pass her room! I'm growing prouder and stronger each day as I realize it took so much courage to hear and fallow that call.Im staying Strong for her & learning the Navy needs us as much as we need the Navy! Can't wait to see her in her dressed whites-ship12- div 292!!

Restaurants

Can any one provide a list or link to restaurants and attractions near the navy base, SR is only able to spend a few hours with us so we wanted to do something close by so we don't have to rush.

Thanks,

Our son left 7/13 as well

Our son shipped out 7/13 as well and we just got our first personal letter today. All is well with him and boot camp is everything he thought it would be. Take heart. You will hear from your recruit soon.
