I am so sorry that I have not updated this blog for you all. I've been trying to update everyone who has been praying for her, but I just completely forgot you guys. I am so sorry!!! Thank you for your prayers.

Yvonne had her surgery on the 18th. It was supposed to be an 8 hour surgery but turned out to be almost 13 hours! It actually took her until the afternoon of the 20th before she was awake enough from the anesthesia to understand that she had the surgery and that she was not in pre-op anymore. She has been in a LOT of pain!

They moved her out of ICU yesterday afternoon to a room in the orthopedic ward.

I saw her this morning and she is doing much better! She is clearer in her mental state, and in much less pain. She asked me if the doctor was coming in today and when I said yes she wanted her brush to brush her hair. She also asked me to bring her toothbrush. So I know she is on the mends!

Thank you Jesus! Glory to God! Hallelujah!!!

I will try to be more faithful to update you on her status because I know you all are faithful in holding her up in prayer. Thank you again for your faithfulness.

Thank you for the update!  So glad to hear everything went well, but man, that was a long surgery.

I hope they are able to get the pain under control sooner rather than later.  Good thing is it should improve......thanks again and let her know we are continuing to pray for her.

John, Thank you for the update. My apologies, I had to be away from my computer this afternoon and could not reply. I will be sure to post an update for everyone and yes, we will continue to keep Yvonne and you in our prayers.

Praising our Lord!

Thank you so much for the update. The anesthesia can really take alot out of you and they had to keep her under along time. Continued prayers as she continues to heal and gains strength. It will be so wonderful to be without pain. God Bless

Thank you Father for answered prayers.  Will continue to pray for Yvonne.  The hairbrush and toothbrush made me smile.
