i just received a note from Sharon's dear friend and she tells me that Brian is still receiving treatments and as soon as he is able he will be sent to a hospital in Jacksonville Fl which is closer to the apartment where he lives with his wife and baby.

Lois closed her note to me with this....

Keep praying for her and Brian...it means so much to them!  Tell the Navyformoms they are truly wonderful people to surround them with their care & concern!

Hey there,

Hope this day has maybe been better than the last! I have been praying for you and your family and Brian. Soo sorry for what has happened to you both!! I would be happy to do what I can to help you. If you need me to drive to Atlanta on a sat or sun, or off day during the week I can do that !! It is not a bad drive. Tell him this just gives him more time to study for his E4 exam. No reason why he shouldn't pass now huh.Keep us posted and I have sent his name out to several people. Have you heard of Caring Bridge? You can do a journal there of his journey. A friend of mine that is still going to Emory did hers. Maybe I should get her email for you , she would be a big help with the drs at Emory and the procedures. Prayers to you my N4M friend!

Hi, according to my son, yes some weeks were harder than others. Towards the end they were tested quite a bit. It is definately a "Crash" course, but well worth it. If your son would like to get intouch with my son, send me a private message and I shall give you his e-mail. He is currently stationed in Patuxent River, Maryland for the next two years.

Hi, since you appear to have a Sailor in San Antonio, you may want to join San Antonio MA's I put a Discussion on there called "Break down week by week" that might help you. You will find a lot of useful info in that group that is specific to the training there. I wish you and your soon-to-be MA all the best.
