Teresa, After all of this time I just read your story about your recent marriage!  Congratulations to you and your new hubby!!!

I noticed the weather was bad there also, I texted Doug but haven't heard back from him.  He may be sleeping because he said he had watch last night from midnight to 2:00AM.  We had tornado warnings where we live this evenings, but looks like the weather is clearing up thankfully!  We have had so much rain that I can't remember a day it hasn't rained!

Hope you have a great evening!

Teresa, Don't know how I missed your message from last week!  That is so cool that Doug and JC are roommates!!!  How far are you from Mississippi?  I was hoping to go down there over Mother's Day weekend, but Doug said he has "duty"  all day Sunday so I guess I won't.  It is about an 8 hour drive for me.  I know they have to be thrilled to be finished with Great Lakes!!!

Thank you Teresa!  If I understand correctly, he will still have several chances to pass the PRT before graduation, so I have my fingers crossed he will still make the 4/15 PIR!

Teresa, Good morning you can print it from this site: http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp don't forget you need the password that you got from the form letter to print the pass. I look forward to seeing you at the meet & greet next Thursday.

Teresa, I know exactly what you mean.  I have felt the same exact way this week.  It has been nearly 2 weeks since they could call, and his last letter I received wasn't really very upbeat.  He just talked about how homesick he was.  I have written him trying to be encouraging, but it has been hard.  Sorry, I know I haven't cheered you up, but I really do feel the same exact way.

Teresa,

Thank you so much for your friend request.  I would be most honored! We'll hold each other up and support each other through these tough times. Lord knows we can all use someone who's in the same boat, right. I can't begin to say how much smaller my world got when I finally got on here and was able to start communicating with people who have kids in the same place as mine...even kids who are in the same ship and division. It's funny, having always had kids on sports teams.....it's like we're all team moms here together. Bless you my new friend.....((((((((((((Teresa)))))))))))))  *a big warm hug from a fellow struggler*
