Hi there - it looks like someone found you a cake place, but I found another one in an old nuke posting too:  it's bakemeawish.com.  Someone posted that they used them a few years back and had no problems....hopefully between the 2 you will find one that will work!  Let us know how it works out :)

Hi proudmom - thanks for friending me!  My son finished A school on 4/19 and then was on T-Track for 10 weeks.  He started Power school on 7/1 (short week) and that graduation is supposed to be on 12/13/13.  Have they given your son any idea when his power school might start?  That is so nice that your son will be home for 10 days! Enjoy your time with him!

Hi proudmom63, your son is a nuke and in A school in Charleston now, right?  And I think his PIR was 4/5/13.  Is all that right?

My son is a nuke and his PIR is 5/31/13.  I can't wait !!!!  I have hotel reservations.  I have got to get airplane tickets.  I need to checkout Southwest.

Well hello there..looks like everyone made their way home from Boston..such a shame that you can't even go out and participate in something as wholesome as running or a sporting event without worrying about being in the wrong place at the wrong time.  The group from the gym was raising money for Sandy Hook..yet another act of violence..this makes my heart sad. On a happy note..rooms booked, airline tickets purchased and mini van rented..we are ready! Found out the boys division is sponsored, so they get special perks..he was very upbeat when the call came in Sat. I was wondering if you would give info about the ribbons that you wore to PIR..they were beautiful!

Good morning proudmom63...still walking on clouds? I am still learning to navigate this site, but so happy it is here for support! I am hoping to get Hayden's address today..MU1 said to give her a call. Wrote the 1st letter, definitely kept it light and funny. I am sure he is doing just fine and we are as well. First few days were tough, especially for Tristan. Friends gathered around throughout the week, so the house wasn't empty :) Thanks for friending me here..I'm just trying to find where exactly I belong at this point (teehee) ~Pam

Yes, it has been an exciting day!  We are driving up (takes about 3 hours).  Not sure if we are going to Sarge's Meet and Greet or not.  Depends on what time I get out of work (I work in the medical field and never know what time I will get out).  The only fellow sailor's name I know that is also going to be a nuke is first name Chase.  Could he be your son?  (That would be a huge coincidence!)

Just looking at some new posts from newer groups...looks like they are posting pictures of SR and family members and even some posts of where ships are in port...I thought those were all things NOT to do? Any one have comments?

So sorry I didn't see this comment. I must be blind lol. I am so glad you heard about the ribbons and that you found me. They are such a great way to show your pride and support for your Sailor at PIR and the Meet and Greet as well if you get to go to that. The ribbons for the divisions other than the 800 DIV's are normally navy blue with your choice of silver or gold letters. Please spread the word to others and let them know about the ribbons and what they are for. Word of mouth is my only advertisement so I really appreciate it :) Here is the link to my website, I also sent you a message :) It is not too late, still plenty of time, :) www.uniquememorymakers.com Thanks again, Lora

Welcome to Div 139!  I was about to ask what your son was going to A School for but I just read Machinists Mate?  Mine is headed to Pensacola for IT.  Yes, I'm planning on attending Sarge's Meet and Greet. We are driving as we're just outside of Indianapolis so its about a 3 12/ hr drive (we can't complain!).
