Hello, Clarkedu!  I didnt realize how much I depended on your cheery smile, sense of humor, ability to laugh at yourself, and ability to keep things in perspective!  I hope that when I navigate these waters come November (my son's a DEPPER, Nov is when he starts bootcamp) I can do it with a certain amount of style.  My definition of style?  Well, I guess it means that if your canoe capsizes (and I'm sure mine will) you just shake the water out of your ears and keep paddling!  You'll probably never know how many moms and SRs you helped.  I just wanted to say thanks and BRAVO ZULU for making it through boot camp.  (How come our kids are the only ones who get the cool uniform?  Don't they realize we went through boot camp, IT, Battle Stations too?  It hardly seems fair to me!)  Anyway. Thanks again.  Jackie.

Any new info on a get together for 07/245 on the 4th. Have you seen any of the pics on facebook usnavyrecruittraining command. I look all the time but I haven't seen any of our group yet. I continue to get letters from my daughter but still no phone calls. And she says that these next 3 weeks will be real rough on them. So I will try to make sure I get more mail out to her during this time.

I'm doing great actually, thanks for asking.  I haven't been on here lately because I have been so busy.  I was able to talk to my husband for over 40 minutes on Wednesday, and he has written me over 12 letters so far, the next 28 days are going to be a lot easier than the first 28 that is for sure.  I finally received that form letter yesterday, my husband forgot to put the APT # on it because he was rushing, and it was returned to sender so that solves the question as to why I never received it.  How are you doing?  I am sure you are getting anxious and excited for graduation as am I.

I see that you are from Whittier, Ca. I lived in Calif for 31 years and moved to a little tiny town in NY. I was from Lawndale, Calif. which is real close to redondo bch, hermosa bch, manhatten bch and of course close to LAX.

I called and got info on the pictures that they will have taken if you would like any of the info please let me know and I can forward the info on to you. I know that I am having her order a copy of her picture for each one of my brothers and sisters (7) and for my folks, and her dad. I wanted to get a guestimate on how much to put in her account for the pictures.

Hey saw you comment wondering how I am doing . I am doing ok. I guess I know where he is and per this website alot of what is happening to him. my son has gone off to camps and to visit family for a week or two at a time. I am just  trying to treat it the same way so hopefully by the time I hear from him i will be really glad to hear from him and not frantic I don't want to scare him and him not want to call because Mom loses it. How are you doing?. Do you have a plan in coping with the silent time.?
