Yeah I will be calling the base for sure but he wont get his orders for like 5 more weeks :(. We have to do a navy move because there is no way we could come up with 2 grand up front. Were hoping for special circumstances since I will be almost 40 weeks pregnant but not counting on it. Ill probably end up waiting here tilhe gets everything situated.
we're planning on living on base. its nice to have the heads up beforehand. it makes things a little easier when i know what to expect. we have 2 boys. our oldest (Evan) is almost 2.5 years and our youngest (Jack) is gonna be 2.5 months when he gets to see his daddy again. he was only 2 weeks when he left. for me, Evan is the hardest. he is very much a daddy's boy but he's been doing better than i thought he would with his daddy being gone. he understands that daddy is at work. his terrible 2 thing is whats been getting me. lol. he's got that and missing daddy but he's doing a lot better than i thought
yeah. its been kinda hard with 2 kids but i'm living with my in laws and they've been a great help. i'm super excited about moving over there. i can't wait to get out of CA. i'm ready for a change and to be with my husband again. i've been talking to a girl thats there already and she's been very helpful with letting me know what to expect.
well we signed a 6 month lease when we got here, and the way it workedwas if we signed a 6mo lease we would get 200 off rent since we were in old housing, but once its up you can sign another one and continue to recieve that money or be month to month in which case yo would not get anything off rent. we actually put in our 30 days notice yesterday. we have a 3 bed. 2 bath.Delete Comment
Hi, I have one more suggestion. Change your Privacy settings to either Members or Just My Friends--anyone with web access can visit this page as you have it now, after the change, only members or Friends can see what is here. (Click on Settings in the upper right and then Privacy in the upper left of the next page.) Blessings to you and yours.
Maddie's Mommy - you may also want to join the "Nuke School Charleston" group. I see you have already joined nuke moms which is good, but the Nuke school charleston is mostly young wives living on base in Goose Creek. There is a page where they show their ages and kids ages if any. Lots of little ones in the group. If you are moving there soon, it looks like they would be a good group for you to join. Your hubby will have many many hours away from you and your little one and it will help to have someone in the same boat to talk with. Good luck!!
