Awesome!!! I was hoping you would get your letter today. : ) My son didn't say much. I surprised he did write. I already put a letter in the mail yesterday and started another one yesterday afternoon. My son is going to be an aircraft mechanic. How about yours? So will you be coming down for his graduation? We will have to try to meet before hand. I better go, I'm at work. I wanted to write because I wont be home until about 8 tonight. Take care. Talk with you soon. : )
I was hoping for the form letter today but no such luck:( I am writing letters so I will have something to send as soon as I get his address. I am anxious to get the info on the PIR so I can start making plans! My son Jake has a Special Ops Diver contract and was processed at MEPS in Montgomery, AL on June 6. He arrived at RTC that same evening. Hard having no contact with him. I see you can only have four tickets for PIR and there is me, my husband and three siblings so I guess one of us has to skip the graduation. Is there any way to get an extra ticket?
How was the concert? I live in northern IL, I think that is why I got the letter so quickly.
Ladies, make sure you answer your phone evern if you don't know who is calling you never know when it will be out sons. : ) The letter had the graduation date, address and a short note from my son. I hope you get your letter soon. Have a good weekend.
Hi,
Your son must have been at the same swearing in as my Grandson. We were there, and my daughter got two very good pictures with Jake in them.
Changes, changes, changes. You would think by now I'd be used to changes.
God bless you and all of yours.
I'll pray for your son along with my Grandson.
Thanks.

Hi, I'm in northern IL. It sounds like our sons went at the same time. : )
Did you get to come down to the ball game? Is this your first child to leave home? I also have a daughter who is 20 and she is away at college. Write when you get a chance. I would like to get to know you, maybe we can offer some support to each other.
Just remember, he will be home before you know it. : ) Have a good day, Shawna
