Hi Donna! Yes, we definitely will be having another packing party. I don't have a date yet, but I know a couple of Moms are working on it. I know that I've seen signs for Trumbell when traveling thru CT, but I can't remember exactly where you are - east, west, north or south?? I am going to send you a PM about one, but want to keep it off the public areas. Feel free to join Massachusetts Navy Mom group to follow what's happening there. (Not to be confused w/MA Navy Moms!!!) I see you are in CT Navy Moms. Check in with Marlene in that group for packing parties, also. Looking forward to getting to know you better.
Nope, last name is not Crowe. When do you leave for pir? It's so exciting! I was not able to talk to Eric on Friday, but he did talk to grandpa and my husband. Hopefully he will call again this week to give details about what he wants to do. It sounded like he wanted to come home. We live only 40 minutes away, so he can do that. He did break up with the girlfriend. very wise, as he will be going to Groton, Connecticut. (we call it rottoen groton lol)
I have been hanging in there. James is my second child. He is kind, helpful, and smiles easily. I am missing him very much. Five children each so different. So use to having them all around me and nom his sister our 3rd child is going off to college in June. Ugh I don't do well with change. lol
When did you speak to your son last? Take care, Ann
Just saw the great pics you posted. Looks like you had some good times before he left. I wish I had a recent pic of me and Garrett together. I have lots of him with the dogs but none with me lol.
Waiting for a second letter and hoping for a phone call this weekend.
Donna, the ones flying out to A School usually leave the day after PIR. However, some may not leave until Sunday, depending on flights/weather. If staying in GL for A School, they will have Sat/Sun daytime for liberty, except for "watch" times.
Thank you Donna, My prays are with you. Im so sorry you did get the last call. I got my call at 11:26pm......now wait for the box..........."The greatest gift you can give your children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence."
We're leaving for Joey's graduation this Thursday. I'm so excited. I'll tell you all about it when I get back. Call me when you have a chance next week. 203 816-1455.
