I have four sons and my sailor is the 2nd one. He is soooo ready to meet his boat mates. He is a focused young man, ready to do the work. I would love to go to Hawaii to visit. Can I share you with the other mom whose son is also on the boat?
Keep studying! Just a few weeks left! How did you end up in Poland?
The boat was out when he got there. He says he is not doing much. Likes Hawaii, imagine that! How long has your husband been there? I know of another mom who has a son on the boat also. How long have you been married?
I saw that your hubby is a Nuke. My fiance just joined and is still waiting to get sent to BC. I was just wondering if I could send you a friend request.
Just saw your comment. I haven't been on here in forever. Lots have changed. We got married and our expecting a little boy at the end of May. We move to Hawaii soon. How are y'all?
No idea. He was suppose to be going to A-school today. I was hoping to get a mailing address to mail his phone and stuff to him. I would have thought since BC is over things would be laid back until school started and maybe a phone call... but nothing yet. He said school doesn't even start until the 28th.
it was so perfect. i miss him like crazy already though. it was a real laid back weekend. we didn't do a whole lot. we had rather just spent time together than go exploring the city. it was alot of hotel sitting and just talking/catching up, but that was plenty for me. :) just being there with him was enough. we went to the Gurnee mills mall, spent sometime there. it was just amazing. i cried like a baby when i first got to see him. then again when we dropped him off on sunday. now i'm just patiently waiting to here from him. i want to write him but i don't even know if he would get it because he should be going to a-school any day now. even though it's in GL as well, it's still a whole different area. How was your visit this weekend?
i am glad you get to go see him now. :) Yes i was so excited. It was the BEST DAY EVER! I don't think I have ever been so happy/proud/excited ever in my life. I am just trying to take full advantage my weekend. Tell you all about it on Monday.
Hey Girl! His battlestation is Wednesday. I will most likely be getting a call on Thursday on our drive up, which will be good because I can answer no matter what!! I'm getting so excited that I have trouble sleeping, haha. :)
Yeah. I know it will be tough sharing it with his family but better than nothing. His A school is in GL also so no airport. If there was I would be right there until that plane left. Ha. These two weeks need to fly by. I have been making out things to do to keep me busy. My list is getting longer. :) I work 5 days. That helps me a lot.
I am thinking about you and hoping you have the absolute best weekend with your sailor. I cannot wait to hear all about it. So happy for you and very jealous all at the same time. :) I got a phone call yesterday and today will be 2 weeks until PIR. I'm so excited. Enjoy your weekend. Take care.
I know, I agree on the ring. Haha. ;) We have been together almost 15 months now. Our one year was the beginning of March. We have known each other since my freshman year in high school though. We honestly never thought we would work out, but i'm so glad we did!
Ha I know right. Brad is 22 too. Funny story, we were engaged then felt like we were rushing things so we thought we would slow down but right before he left he told me to start looking at rings again lol We lived together so we were basically an old married couple. That's what made him leaving so tough!! I am probably going to call his mom tomorrow to see what's going on because time is slowly running out. She is kinda high maitenance so we were looking at the marriot or something with a suite.
