Hi Trixy, I welcome you back as a friend but please remove me from your comment wall and don't put make any of my messages public, ok? I don't get on here much but was pleased to tell you about Butchart Gardens and the Butterfly Gardens. Cut little dog! Cute sailor! Thank you for your service to our country. My sailor was home on leave recently. It was nice after so-o-o long away from us. My sailor finished first deployment and is back at pearl. Blessings,
Trixy, Here is some info to make your decision/plans about going to The Butchart Gardens a little easier to make. www.butchartgardens.com
The Butchart Gardens, Box 4010, Victoria BC, V8X 3X4, Canada
Phone 250-652-4422 Fax 250-652-3883 We drove our car onto the Ferry at Anacordis, WA, then we had our car to drive around on Vancouver Island. There are multiple things to do on the Island and also in Victoria BC. I wanted to take the canoe ride with the local tribe out to where the whales are, though I thought it a bit scarey, they say it is quite safe. There are seasonal rates at The Butchart Gardens and sometimes discounts if you tell them in advance you are going to be visiting. Blessings,
Hi Trixy, Thank you for your service to our country and thank you to your husband. Thank you for rearing a beautiful daughter with a heart for the U. S. Navy and service to her country. Blessings,
Hey Trixy! Hope all is well with you and Tiffany! Haven't been on here for awhile, so just wanted to catch up. I guess I have been busy living life. So much has changed since they were in bootcamp.
Hey trixy! I hope all is going good for you. Just wondering how your Tiffany is doing. My husband is doing great. He is at GL. So I got to drop his cell off to him last night. So the kids and I got to see him for a few minutes! He called me at 7:55 and said can you be here by 9? I said heck yeah and hauled ass to GL. Made it just in time. We got 5 minutes w/ him, but it was well worth it!
I'm good, can't wait til graduation! My husband's letters have been more and more positive. He has been doing awesome on his inspections. He said he is at a 5.0, which I guess is good. He said that ppl are starting to get their acts together. He said that they had lots of inspections coming up. It seems like things have gotten better. And I guess that the 188 guys stay at the 187 house w/ the 187 guys and the 188 girls stay at the 188 house w/ the 187 girls. Since both are split 1/2 men 1/2 women. He said the RDCs aren't that bad. He said they kinda play good cop bad cop. But it's kinda what he expected. Thats all I know. I usually get my letters on Tues. I will keep you updated!
I got my form letter on March 30th. It gave me his address, his PIR date, and the website www.bootcamp.navy.mil to go to to get more info and to print out the parking pass. It also gave me the password to print out the parking pass. Did you get that? How did you get her address?
It also had a list of 4 people that they want to be at their PIR. And it tells you what you can send to them.
I've been good. Just really missing my husband lately. We really haven't ever been apart for about 10 years. It's really strange to be here by myself. I don't sleep to good at night yet.
You know your dachshunds! Odie is a silver dapple and quite possibly, the best friend I have ever had! This is a very new experience for me here so I am not very good at maneuvering around the site yet. I am sure it will be easier the more I use it. My son is waiting on waiver so we are in the Hurry Up and Wait mode right now. I hope you have a wonderful day!
Thanks, it was just a little overwhelming. I know I will get better at and used to everything. My husband's Grandpa is going to take me to Great Lakes on the 21st for a tour. He is a retired Master Chief in the Coast Guard.
