No, we can't make it since we went to Chicago in October. We made a weeks vacation out of their boot camp graduation. We will be waiting at the airport when he arrives in Fresno on Friday. We are still waiting to hear what his schedule will be on Friday. It sounds like he's really enjoyed his training and all the new friends he's made in San Antonio and boot camp. Where is your husband going for his first assignment after San Antonio?

Hi Becky - My daughter is int the same division.  I'm not sure if I already responded to your post!  I received two letters and a phone call this week.   Where are you staying when you come for PIR?  Are you going to the meet & greet?  Which one?  Do you need to make reservations for that?

Have you connected yet with your PIR group on here? Mine was a HUGE help, and we've become an awesome group of friends. Do you ever come up to Fresno? I've joined the Blue Star Moms group here, and it's filled with wonderful, supportive women. If you'd like to come some time, I can get you the information.

We're from Montana.  So far, we've only received the "box" and form letter since the initial "15 second" call saying he had arrived in Great Lakes.  Has anyone else received a call or actual letter from their SR on Ship 12, Div 347?
