FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

also, Mail seems to be having a hard time getting to the new addy, it gets there but takes just a little bit longer. I am thinking its because it brand new house! the kids have been having a bit of trouble at the Post office....They have to go and get the mail cause the mail person is not delivering ALL the mail at once...can't figure it out!! They have complained maybe it will change, we can only HOPE!

the addy you sent the card to "was" correct but like I said he was in the middle of moving! I can't believe the post office just didn't forward the card??!!! Weird, thanks for thinking of him. He actually was in San Diego-working!! they were doing some ship repairs and is currently chug a lugging their way home as I type!

All is fine..sailor is fine...happy heathly etc...so all is well....the longer they are in...it just seems the little things mean more and more.....times together are VERY precious...

Hi Jody, your son was asked, well he must of thought it was not worth it (boys). I don't believe Stephen was offered that. I do believe that it does not works the same for everyone. I take it one day at a time, when Stephen finishes school we will see what the next step is. It can get to be to much information all at once. I am still working on the uniform allowance.lol

Thanks for the information about liberty at PNS. I wasn't sure if they would be allowed to stay at the hotel with us but from what you said it looks like they have to be back by midnight.

I understand, I understood about the kids getting the room, I just thought we should to have a break (only kidding). LOL That is wonderful that you trust him because having a room and having a bunch of kids is not always a good idea. Well that is nice, the parents sound good also, sometime when someone has money they are kinda not so nice, (you know what I mean).
