SORRY it took so long to respond! I never log on anymore :/ Anyway, my hubby, then boyfriend, was in meridian then connecticut. I didnt see him in Meridian but did visit in CT. However, I think the liberty rules are the same... He had to attend class mst of the day and also had duty days where I couldn't see him at all. He was supposed to be back in his barracks I think at 9pm everynight and maybe 10pm saturdays? Gee I'm sorry. Once he is closer to his grad date, he will get overnight liberty. He is allowed to go off base on weekends. I hope this helps!
OMG me too.....he is doing great!!! it was scary for a while, but he got a boost of confidence and is pushing forward...i got to talk to him for about 25-to 30 min one day, and it was so awesome!....so your PIR is coming very soon, you must be so excited! we got plane tickets, hotel and rental car, now we are just waiting. so how is your husband doing? have you guys talked much, and do you know when he does Battlestaions? well thanks for looking me up......good luck
I'm driving and either leaving tuesday or Wednesday not so sure, I'm going with my hubby's parents, and we r leaving from ny state which should be fun.
Yes I got another letter today, I now get them on monday, thursday and saturdays...you probably didnt get one today because maybe he didnt have time to hand it in or maybe he had watch when they were. My hubbys div is doing realy well he's past evrything and I believethey have gotten all but 1 flag. He is really excited about when they went to the live fire range...he says they are starting to get into the more exciting things, and that he took the pictures...I just hope he got the biggest package, but noing him he probably got the smallest or none at all, he hates his picture takein, well girly keep me updated and I will keep you updated as well, when do you drive/fly out to chicago??
My son mentioned Div 93 & 94 being sponsored by Camp David. I'm pretty sure he said weapons intro & training started this week, as he was very excited about this part.
He sounded great on the phone this Sunday! : ) He's happy and making some good friends. Where is your guy going for A-school?
He's doing good. Bored out of his mind he said that boot camp is crazy easy. They just have to study alot and they have pt every other day. He's in good spirits knowing that we are half way through. And he misses and loves my son and I as much as we miss and love him. He wants me to keep on writing detailed letters and send photos asap.
I got my phone call 15 mins I would say...I saw the area code pop up on my tv and I was like it's josh!!!!! I was so excited I didn't want to say goodbye.
sorrie i just checked my email.... well he's been there since dec 7..... according to him there isn't really much to do there... and everything is far away!!!! i think he said it takes about an hour to get to the closest mall which is only 1 story and not that many stores there.... i'm hoping he'll be done this week b4 he heads to san diego for his station..... to get liberty you have to pass some qualifications.... he says it should be within a week depending on what day he gets there.... but there is a bowling alley and pool place on base..... and he hates the cold weather out there too.... if you are planning on going to grad during rtc i suggest to bring his phone and what ever else he might like so when he heads over there he can have it with him.... but see if you can meet him at the airport to give it to him since they aren't allowed to bring anything back to base with them.... it's been hard on me and my kids too since my husband has been gone..... but they're just glad they can video chat with him almost every day..... well hopes this helps let me know if you need any more info.... take care
