Hi! Just curious, what has your fiance been told about his A and C school? My boyfriend's A school (he is going for IT ATF), is 16 weeks and then he was told his C school is 19 weeks. Have you ever heard of them having two C schools? Do you know where his C school will be? Michael said his will probably be in Pensacola, also, but isn't sure :( Anyways, hope all is going good with your move!
Hey Anjelica! I bet you are super stoked about Friday!!! My SR PIR is 4/22. Oh my goodness, it can't come soon enough! =) Will you be moving with your boyfriend to Pensacola? My SR is going for IT, also, and said his A school is 16 weeks and his C school 19 weeks. That's only 9 1/2 months, but I've heard of people moving for less than that. Just wondering :)
PS - How long were you able to talk to you SAILOR(: when he made his BS21 call??
Hello! When is your sailor's PIR?? the 15th? If so, you should stay at the ramada inn for the meet and greet! And what is his rate? Something to do with aviation since he'll be in p-cola I assume :)
I did hear from my son. Well first I got a 10 page journal in the mail. I stopped everything and read it all. It was so-o-o-o great!! Then as I was going to pick up my little ones, I got a call from the 847 area code and I knew it was him. He said he only had like 2 minutes but it turned out to be 6 minutes so that was great!! He has a cold so he has been sick for 2 weeks. He sounded really good and said everyone is getting another haircut tomorrow. In one of my letters I asked about his friends and turns out he doesn't have any friends but he does have 85 brothers!! That was way cool!! I will be flying in on the 13th and staying at the Quality Inn in Waukegan. That is great that his parents are so close. Boy that saves money!!! I feel so much better that I have talked to him though!! Wow, what a great day!!
That is good to hear! I haven't seen anymore letters, just one so far. I am happy with that though. I still haven't received his box though. I am getting concerned!! That is sweet and I'm glad that she doesn't really realize that daddy is not home now. It would be harder if she were older. At least we can say it is only 2 months. We only have like 38 days to go. Almost half way through!! Are you going to PIR? Where are you staying if so?
I'm glad you heard from him twice. Hearing his voice is probably the best. My little ones are good. They miss their big brother. I had them both, age 5 and 6, draw him a picture and I sent it the other day. I am trying to write daily so I hope they are getting their mail. Did your fiance say anything about the mail? How is your little one?
I haven't talked to you in a while. I just wanted to see how you were. I hear others are receiving phone calls. None yet for me but I know it is coming!! I haven't received his box yet but I did receive a letter!! It was wonderful to get a letter, to see him write in block letters,...and he sounded so-o-o good!! talk to you soon!!
:( That is so sad! I thought our dog would have serious problems but he seems to be doing ok. I just found out about a meet-and-greet thing on the 14th. I honestly can't remember who told me so if it was you im sorry! I am on info overload. But I think we will try to go to that! Anyway take care and keep in touch! :)
Hey! Thanks for messaging me back :) I haven't gotten any letters yet. Just the one instructing me on who is invited to PIR, the date, and what websites to look at. Have you gotten any? Thanks on the congratulations! It has been a whirlwind these last two months before he went in. What is your boyfriend's job? Does he know where he will go for A-school yet?
That is really great that they gave you his letter. I have sent my son 2 letters already so me too! Have you found anyone else in the same ship and division?
