FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey there Lady, Have been thining about you, how is the little mama doing, are you getting ready for the baby. I have made you a scarf with our ship/div on it like I have made for other mothers in our shp/div let me know if you want it. I can send it out at the end of the week. Oh my gosh well great for you!!! I have been thinking of you! Thank you for the comment on my photo. Yes my Ex Husband and I do not talk but what beatiful boys we do have. My oldest passed away in July it has been hard for us, but he is our angel watching over his brother as any big brother would do. How is your mommy to be? I can not wait to meet you.

Hi there Mom, not its not the weather I have been shedding many tears this morning myself. I got up positive yesterday...no letter or call or really anything and I am just a little down and lonely. We will get used to this just wait until that first phone call!

He got there on the 1 of November but others in our ship and division did not arrive until mid week so I am assuming that they will not start the first week with all there. LOVE YOUR NAMES VERY MUCH!!! I wonder if it is a girl because they can not see or tell, hmmm how exciting. No phone calls or letters back, probably will not get any for at least another week. They can ony write sun morn. Not much time Yes I have sent about 19 or 20 letters, he had better write back. Peace out for now

PS Never apologize to me about not getting back to me, I am on and off and just beginning to understand how to navigate this website. sometimes I do not even know I have a responce because the communication locations are all over the place for me.

Hi Queen thank you for your blessing God Bless your child too. Well next week is week 3 and I am told it includes Seamanship, boarding and disembarking. First Aid, Physcial Testing (running and situps) should be a more challenging week and more interesting it sounds like!!!!
