Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Well I haven't been on the site for about 1 1/2 years. My daughter was in the Navy and was medically discharged in October of 2013. As my profile states when my daughter was waiting to leaave for…Continue

Do also have a Sailor who had PIR in 2013? If so, what is your Sailor's rating (job/specialty) and/or where is she stationed (what vessel, if one)? There may be groups I can direct you to.
Since you have a recruit at the RTC, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted." You can make that change on the same page when you change the ZIP Code when you make the changes below.
Does your son have a ship date?
Don't forget to make the changes below.
It's not a good idea to post a pic of your future Sailor every time you post. See change 4 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link). Also make change 3 while you are there. There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes. Another change that I recommend that is mentioned in change 1 is to change the ZIP code to one that is not easily associated with your soon to be future Sailor.
You can edit your "About me:" section when you change the ZIP code to reflect your current situation.
If your son gets a ship date, go to the discussion, Things to Do in the Last Month before Your Future Sailor Leaves for the RTC. At the bottom are links for each of the months, join the one for the month that your then future Sailor ships.
Hi, I received your request in February. Sorry I did not respond I have been on the site so little since then. My son finished BC in March and is currently in Nuke A School at G.C. Would love to hear from you.
Hi, I wanted to make sure you saw that Division 130 has PIR on 03/22/2013. Your SR was one of the last to fill her division and is in a Push Division, so she only has 8 Fridays at the RTC instead of 9. If your form letter said 03/29/2013, write to your SR and let her know and also email the PAO at rtc.pao@navy.mil and let them know that you have received a different date than is indicated at http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp so that new form letters can be sent or the recruits can otherwise let their families know of the error (it could mean a different password for PIR). Take care and blessings to you and yours.
(If Push Division is a new term for you, see What does ??? mean? (A Guide to Navy Abbreviations and Terminology).)
