Hello everyone. Sailor Recruit daughter scheduled for Feb. 8 PIR. Just wanted to send blessings to you all and let you know I'm praying for all our men and women at Great Lakes. God is good!

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.  2 Timothy 1:7

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:19

Father, allow me to surrender to whatever this day holds, knowing that you already know what’s ahead and will be with me no matter what it is. Remind me, Lord, to stay connected to you throughout my day. Bathe me in your peace and help me to pass it on to those around me. Through Christ Your Son. Amen

My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed Luke 1:46–49

Dear God, today I ask for a fuller understanding and appreciation of your many gifts. Increase my faith, and allow your works to be done through me.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.

John 1:14

Jesus, you are the Word made flesh, and I give you thanks and praise for the gift of salvation and the process of redemption.

Same here had a houseful -9 of us - all the kids here and grandkids- Navy son home first time in 4 years - was so nice. They were all here( as I have 3 out of the 4 out of town) from the 21st to the 1st   We have a 2 bedroom home and 1 bathroom but it all worked out fine and I made 2 makeshift bedrooms downstairs with curtains.   We only went out to eat one time and one time to Sky Zone to jump on trampolines which was hysterical with our 14 year old granddaughter doing flips and ended up standing up, our Navy son doing flips and landing on his face. Thanking God it all happened and now the house is quiet and yes cold - we are possibly gettiing 9 inches of snow this weekend.   Hugs

We had a Wonderful Christmas . Had everyone home, first time since 2006!  House was crowded, 7 adults, 2 grandkids and 5 large dogs.   It flew by and now everyone is gone again, all beds are clean again, carpets cleaned.....back to work  month-ends and year ends done.  I re-injured my shoulder and back doing all that clean up but worth it. LOL  and now fighting a cold/flu/bronchitis weather decided to change again and get cold. highs 20 and wind chills single digits. Winter has come to Ohio.

thanks for asking how have you been?

Comment by Jesusintheboat on January 11, 2019 at 2:29pm

Thank you Blondie. How was your Christmas and how are you doing?

The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.  Nahum 1:7

Godliness with contentment is great gain.  1 Timothy 6:6

When we tether our hope to Christ, we don’t have to rely on our circumstances and moods for satisfaction. We can relax, knowing that our lives have meaning when we’re living out the purpose for which we were created.

Father, I have all I need in you. Thank you for providing me with your many blessings this day. Amen
