My prayers for all recruits, sailors, and their families that they would truly draw near to God this Easter weekend and know the victory that is won through the shed blood of our Savior Jesus Christ "O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood, to every believer the promise of God; the vilest offender who truly believes, that moment from Jesus a pardon receives." from the old hymn To God Be the Glory.

A blessed Easter to all who read this and pray for our Sailors!

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.  Psalm 32:8

Father,I still have a lot to learn. Open my eyes to see and my ears to hear the lessons of your truth before me today.

He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.  Psalm 23:3

Remind me, Lord, that you know exactly what’s ahead of me. I can trust you as my guide to take me through each step on my life’s journey. Lead me Lord.

He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.  Psalm 23:2–3

Dear God, I feel so overwhelmed by life’s demands most of the time. Remind me that your peace is always available to me, no matter how stressed I may feel. Thank You Lord. I need you.

Thank you for these scriptures and words of encouragement - so true!  I am asking us to pray for all of our recruits and sailors who might be dealing with some type of physical injury or setback. They all work so hard and push themselves to the limit.  This could be discouraging and I pray against any type of discouragement for these brave young men and women.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.  Psalm 23:1

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.  Psalm 91:1

Jesus, please lead me as the Lord of my life. Remind me that I have more than enough of what my heart truly desires when I have your love. Father, I release my cares and worries to you. Help me to still my soul before you, soaking in your presence, trusting in your Love and Care.  If you are for us, who can be against us?  Thank you Lord, Amen

“I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” Isaiah 41:13

I trust you, Lord, and appreciate the way you reassure me when I’m afraid. Thank you for going with me today, holding my hand, and leading the way. Amen

[Jesus said,] “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”  Matthew 11:28

Father, like a child lying against a parent’s shoulder, let me lean on you, secure in the tender strength of your arms, and let go of all my worries. Thank You Father for your love. Amen
