Valtameri - I hope they enjoy it also. Yes I homeshooled all my SRs and my youngest is in 6th grade. 2 SRs graduated in 2017 and 2 SRs graduate this year. - well I guess only 1 is an SR and the other 3 are Future Sailors.... lol

I hope they enjoy what they have chosen!

I just read on another group that you are a homeschooling family; we are too!

Yes, they are both colorblind so that limited their choices and one chose RS and the other wanted LS but job choices what they were LS was not available. My oldest son wanted to be MA and the other RS wanted to be MC. Photography is his passion but alas the colorblindness hindered them.
I encouraged oldest to join as MU but he doesn't read sheet music - he plays by ear and at that time he wasn't interested in the Navy but since swearing in he has become gung ho but does not regret not trying to be a drummer in the fleet band.

Hello LadyBlue! Yes, the group is quiet, but sometimes when people see activity, they join in too. So you have two who are RS, interesting!

Valtameri
Thanks for the welcome and the youtube link - I shared that with my 2 sons who are in RS.
I was nervous when I joined t his group as it seems rather stagnant.

Have no clue on the average wait time - given there are SRs that have set backs in BC, it is a waiting game!  All things happen in good Navy time!  If the time were "too long" and they need to get the SHs going, I would imagine they go with the group they have to start classes and get the SHs off to the duty stations in need.
