OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

This group isn’t very active. There’s a good Facebook group for Texas Navy Families that’s active.

Hello everyone! Thanks for the add to the group. I am from the Dallas area but I am now in between Denton and Decatur in Ponder. My son arrived to BC Monday evening. I got the scripted call that night but I was already asleep :(

Hello Navy Moms!  I’m new to the group also.  My son recently got out of quarantine and I’m waiting to get my first call or letter, whichever comes first.  Looking forward to learning from those that have done this before.
