For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hermanas!! Feliz Año nuevo! Espero y hayan pasado unas muy felices fiestas.
Por aca en Chicago estamos helados!! Tanto que hasta hoy se cancelaron las clases de las escuelas.
Claudia - preparate! Traer manga larga y en capas es lo mejor. Algo que ayuda es usar pantymedia de bajo del pantalon para que no penetre el frio tanto. Te aconsejo que no vistes de falda o vestido. Usar gorro y guantes tambien. Si vas a ir al Meet & Greet? Ya tienes todo listo? Que emocion!!!
Beronica - Espero que ya estes entendiendo mas sobre todo esto de la vida del Navy. Si es complicado, pero sientate con confianza a preguntar. El Meet & Greet es un evento el dia antes de la graduacion para que se conozcan las familias y conviven y celebren el logro de sus sailors. Tambien es muy informativo porque dan mucho informacion sobre la graduacion y tienen un puesto donde venden camisetas y otras cosas para presumir tu orgullo de ser Navy Mom, Dad, Sister, etc.
PUes les cuento que estuvo mi Sailor en casa del 29 hasta ayer. Pasaron los dias de volada y ahora parece que fue un sueño. Nos la pasamos super felices! Ayer fue mi cumple y me toco llevarla al aeropuerto y estaba con un nudo en la garganta pero me estaba aguantando. Al mismo tiempo dandole muchas gracias a Diosito por haberla tenido cerca esos dias. El amanecer con ella ayer fue suficiente regalo y luego tambien cuando me mando el texto para avisarme que llego con bien de nuevo a Norfolk. Como que uno hasta deja de respirar en esas horas de espera....Gracias a Dios que todo le fue bien en su vuelo y el taxi hasta que llego a su departamento.
Espero y todas han empezado un 2015 con mucha positividad y les deseo lo mejor!

Hola!! Feliz Anno a Todas!! Como han estado?? Yo entre contenta y triste...... Contenta porque mi sailor vino a pasar la Navidad en casa, nos la pasamos muy bien, juntos la mayor parte del tiempo, saliendo.... el dia que lo vi irse, el iba a tomar su vuelo en Phoenix y mi hermana que vive alla se lo llevo, asi que yo lo despedi en casa...............por primera vez vio mis lagrimas!! No pude ser fuerte esta vez frente a todos, simplemente me derrumbe!! Me dolio mucho su partida y antes de salir del block de la casa me texteo "No me quiero ir"...y fue lo peor para mi, me encerre en el banno a llorar por horas.... Se fue a su base en Norfolk el 28 de Diciembre y todos los dias me dice que quiere devolverse, que esta muy frio o que esta lloviendo..... creo que tambien a el le afecto haber venido en estas fechas a estar con toda la familia....pero ya desde aqui le sigo dando animos y de que siempre trate de superarse en todo lo que pueda.
Mi hija ya pronto tambien le daran su fecha para Boot Camp, ella ya se enlisto en Air Force y pues a apoyarla en todo tambien.....lo que me da gusto que ella estara mas cerca (Texas) si Dios quiere, solo pido que Dios me de vida de ver a mis hijos realizados en lo que ellos tanto quieren, Dios me los Bendiga Siempre y a todas ustedes Navy Moms y sus Sailors sean siempre Bendecidas!
Claudia, preparate muy bien para tu visita a Chicago pues creo que esta semana ha estado muy baja la temperatura, me da mucho gusto que ya vas a estar reunida con tu hija Felicidades!!
