Since you have a recruit at the RTC, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to Enlisted or “At Boot Camp now.” Either is appropriate, but if you make the change to “Enlisted” now, then you will not have to change it again.

You can make that change when you make the changes below.

The discussion that you posted on is from 2012/2013 so not really active.

Here's a link to a NY group that's a little more active:

Make at least change 3 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link) and change the Privacy Settings for this page from "Anyone" to "Members."

Since your Username contains your email address, also make changes 1 and 2 to change your Username and the URL (address) to your My Page.

There may be other changes you need to make as wellso read and consider each of the changes.

If you would like information on your future Sailor's rating (job/occupational specialty) or field, then let me know the rating or field. There are groups for most specialties and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend.

Hi, when did or will your future Sailor ship to the RTC? If you know the ship date, go to the discussion, Things to Do in the Last Month before Your Future Sailor Leaves for the RTC. At the bottom are links for each of the months, join the one for the month that your future Sailor ships.

I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there.

Take care and blessings to you and yours.

Angel88522,

I'm so glad you decided to reach out!!  I got your comment on my profile page and I'm not sure what group you were trying to comment on.  Once you find the group you want, you will need to join the group.  Which is very easy cause each group will have a link at the top telling you to click to join.  Then you just write your message in the top comment box!!!  Each group will have the most recent posts at the top and you work your way back!!!!  Please let me know if you need any help at all navigating around!!!!  It can be pretty confusing at first!!
