DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hey Penny! I'm sorry I'm just now getting back to you, its been an emotional and stressful weekend..I finally got in touch with Lukes dad, he is flying down there, so ill be driving with my aunt. I really appreciate the offer, but his dad wants to pick me up from my hotel and bring me to the ceremony, which is very nice of him, so I shouldn't refuse his kindness. Things between us are awkward enough right now, that I would prefer to stay on his "good" side. :/ gotta love future in-laws!
Ill try and make it to the meet and greet so we can talk more :)
Again, thank you soo much for being so thoughtful and lending out a helping hand to me, its GREATLY appreciated!

Hi, my son's PIR was 10/1 so he has been in GL for a little over a month now. He is supposed to finish A school sometime the end of Jan or begining of Feb. He said something the other day about one of the classes being shorter than they had originally planned, so that might move his finish date. They are always changing things there. He has no idea where he will go after school. A lot of his schooling seems to be on computers which he doesn't care for (boring), however there are some days when they get to do hands on stuff and he really likes those. I don't really have any pointers for you right now, as long as they follow the rules and do well in school, everything goes fine. There was one night when my son forgot to sign back in to the ship and he almost lost his phase 2. That is one thing they don't want to do after finally earning it. I hope you and your sailor had a nice Thanksgiving and I'm sure he'll do GREAT!
