Thanks so much for your prayers. My Sailors came home to escape the storm. They got in late last night. We spent the day today together hanging out and shopping for her wedding next weekend. They have to go back on Tuesday and then come back home on Thursday night for their wedding. Wish they could just stay the whole time but they can't. Hopefully they will have power when they go back but I doubt it. It should be an adventure, or that is what we call it lol. Thanks again, I hope you and your recruit/sailor are well. Have you had the call yet? Have a great time at PIR and travel safely.

Hi Candace,

Your dates are correct. I got a phone call from my son yesterday out of surprise..quick call but it was great to hear his voice. He was calling for some information that he needs me to get for him..but yes.. He said they have been doing better and ALL are ready. My son is probably the oldest one there and has taken the lead to getting them to listen and strategizing for BS21.. He said he couldnt talk long but will call me back in couple days..Hooyah!!  Will keep you posted if I hear anything else...good talking to ya. Hope to meet you at the Meet N Greet - Marriott..

HI Candace,

I have heard that the date is T/W 8/23-8/24. I have asked my son to verify that because I was asked by the person that sent the information to me to have it verified. I am getting so excited.... I know that my son has said that the division has problems listening to orders so I am praying real hard that they get their act together and ALL pass Battlestation 21. I have my blue candle ready and it will be lit the night that they do BS21. We are going to PIR and staying at a Marriott hotel. I am hoping that we can make the meet and greet on the 31st. Just depends on how long it takes us to get from the airport to the hotel and get settled. If you are going, hopefully I will see you there.
