Hi Rick, Thanks so much for the pictures. My son is a Marine also and he loved, loved, loved the training they did with the Indonesian military in the jungle. That adrenaline-pumping stuff is right up his alley. Is there any other place that there m…

Hi Diane. My son is in a differen unit and the FRO said it is still good, just really slow! He has 5 or 6 packages lined up somewhere! How's your son doing? Okay with the climate and all? You have a great Holiday.

Yes I did have the name of the ship the full address....and I took a peak at the customs forms all seemed to be correct. He was off the ship for some time maybe when he gets back on they will be there. Let's keep hoping. Can not wait to hear from him.

Hi Diane, Just saw your post about the wrong mailing addresses. My son hasn't got any packages for about 5 or 6 weeks. Maybe the same problem. Did you get new info from the Marines? Thanks and have a great holiday! Mike

Morning Diane, Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I sometimes don't look down the page far enough. The Marine FRO is Melissa Campbell and her email address is as follows:
melissa.campbell@usmc.mil. Just ask to be added to her list and it should be good. She does have a pile of email contacts so can't always get back to you. But for me, and I'm sure the rest, more news is good news. Have a great weekend and don't we have some cool kids!

Diane, hey morning!! Looks like our new member Rick's son is in the 2/4 Fox company. How cool is this, possibly your sons might know each other!!! Small world.

(I am from family of Marines all retired and one much older brother retired Army) Love my brothers, they proudly served.

Hey Diane,

Boy, am I still figuring this out. After posting, saw you had left a comment already! Give time and I'll get it! Thanks for everything. And I know, and have heard it from the Marines, that they take very good care of their corpsman. Thanks to your son for that.

Hi Diane,

I just did some reading and realized your son is a marine on the Cleveland. My son is a Navy Corpsman, attached to Fox Company. Your son is probably in Fox Co. What platoon? Sounds like they had a great time in the jungle. Hot and humid but what adventure! Always so good to hear from them. They're heading for some liberty it sounds like. Have a great day.

Now that 's pretty cool that your son is attached to his Marine unit. Ya know my son is the same way, dang it. It's like pulling teeth to get him to communicate about the Navy in general. I just throw up my hands - lol. Can't wait to see your pic's - you have a great week. ttyl

Hi Diane!! How are you? I finally got an email last week from my son. Apparently he had been confined to his rack for a couple days for being sick. Seems he is better now and back to working out at the gym. I had to laugh as he stated he was "working alot and waiting to get back". That boy's got a few months of waiting. lol

How is your son?
