My son bought a laptop also. I'm hopeing this spending money thing dies down after awhile. LOL My son is AR and I'm still trying to figure out what that one means. Will his girlfriend being do the same thing as your son? I'm still not sure when mine will actually start school but I know he has done a course online and recieved a credit already.

Hello nnylear, It is good to see you in the Pensacola group to. I believe I saw you at the Ramada. I remember saying to my daughter, "that looks like one of the moms I talk to on N4Ms" and from your profile photo, I know I saw you at the PIR. We didn't go to the meet n greet, my 18 month old was having trouble adjusting to being away from home and was not enjoying it. I did love the PIR and of course seeing Zach was worth the trip. I had brought his girlfriend with me and I had a feeling something was wrong. She was so negative about everything but I wanted to keep the peace because we had so few hours with Zach. I worrry about how he is handleing all this and I'm hoping as the weeks go by down there it gets easier for him to deal with. Has your son found out wehn he will start school? Zach has not yet.

Hi! I was wondering the exact same question regarding the contacts. I'm hoping someone will answer. My son also requested that I send him a pair of his contacts to wear to graduation. He is in the same division as your son & I am so nervous about sending them. I don't want to get him or anyone in trouble. It does sound like they have had their issues. I sure hope things are coming together for them all as they near the end. My son is young but states he is very determined to get through this without any problems as he is ready to graduate and have rest time. He really misses everyone and not only did he get his wisdom teeth pulled but has had crup & strep. His last letter was very depressing. Hopefully all our letters sent have brought his spirits up. Good luck to your son!

I haven't heard too much from my son, but he does tell his girlfriend and she tells me they are struggling. I guess he doesn't want to worry me. I can't understand why some have to make it so hard for everyone else. Hard enough to deal with boot camp without having to deal with all the extra crap. Got a letter today and his main thing was getting to graduation so he can relax for a few hours. Hope to see you soon.

Hi! It seems that everyone I know who's son/husband is in our division is saying the same thing. Those poor guys :( It's just not fair. I hope to God that they can get everyone working together in the next few weeks!!

The Box came today! Well he sent it to his girlfriend's house and yes that makes me kind of sad but she is a sweet girl and she called me right away to "share the moment" with me. Have you heard back from the recruiter? He hasn't returned my call yet. Zachery is the oldest of my four and the first to leave. I really hadn't expected it to be so hard and to miss him as much as I do. I was telling my two girls today, that I've decided I'm not going through this again and they aren't allowed to leave after High School....Of course, they just laughed and hugged me. They miss him a lot too. Please do keep in touch....it helps to be able to talk to another mom and maybe our sons know each other by now.

Hi nnylear...thank you for the friends request. You are so lucky to have been at the game. I wasn't able to go. I miss him so much and haven't spoken to him since that morning. Haven't gotten the box yet or even a call. I'm hoping no news is good news. Your photos from the game are great, I can see my son in the ones where they are getting sworn in. I am so very proud of him......How are you holding up?......Sara
