I think they would probably want to gather material and start sewing over the Christmas holiday. They're a nice bunch of kids.

I have a group of kids at school who would like to help make pillowcases---I teach high school. Anyway, when I told them about the project, they wanted to help.

I would prefer to have the newest comments first, but the rest of the changes sound great.

Yes, you cook the noodles to al dente first. As far as the name goes . . . hmmn . . . how about Kelley's sausage pimento pasta bake? I like it. The main reason I make it is because it's fast and easy. You can use any kind of sausage, but I like r...

Girls, if you all are going to keep talking banana bread, at least share your recipes. :) I made Mark's favorite mom food last night . . . probably because I had him on my mind. Keeping to my own advice, here's the recipe: 12 oz al dente shell pas...

Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
To be supportive in every way I can. Whether it is Navy bumper stickers on my car, or displaying my son's photo in my classroom, or just encouraging him in everything he does, I support him. I save the worrying for behind his back.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

My step-dad had me write it. I will check in soon. Thank you everyone for your prayers and condolences. Continue

Hi Kellypen,
How are you doing? I'm anxious to be able to see my son sometime soon! How about you? To them it probably seems like time just crawls. To me it seems sometimes like it flew by and sometimes it took forever to go by!

Hi, my son graduates A school in Missouri on Aug 14th and has been assigned to NMCB11 homeport of Gulfport Mississippi. Do you have any information on this batallion? I understand they will be coming home in August? That is great news and then they will be stateside for a bit?

I was just reading your blog. I lost my mom in Goodyear, AZ (near Phoenix) Dec. 07. Derek was out on a short det on the Reagan and the Red Cross got him home for me. I learned a lot about myself and really grew after losing my mom. She was one of my best friends so it's been hard but I had to get something positive out of it and so I did.

Yes, right now Derek has facebook and the ship is allowing them to access it. I will pm you his last name.
