FIRST TIME HERE?
Follow these steps to get started!
Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, no last names are allowed, even if your last name differs. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.
"Make at least change 3 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link). I suggest "Just My Friends" since you have chosen to include pics on your My Page or you can make change 5 and choose…"

If your Username contains your last name, also make changes 1 and 2to change your Username and the URL (address) to your My Page.
There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.
Another change that I recommend that is mentioned in change 1 is to change the ZIP Code to one that is not easily associated with you or your future Sailor.
Once she swears in at MEPS, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to “Enlisted” or “At Boot Camp now.” Either is appropriate. You can make that change on the same page when you change the ZIP Code.
