My name is Krista. My husband and I are currently stationed in San Diego. He is currently deployed and we are expecting our first kiddo (a girl) in Oct right about the time he is set to return.

oh wow... when is your due date? that is a pretty name... Is the middle name said like dove? It is cute. All is good here. I can't believe Nathan is 8 months already it goes so fast. Are you going to go back home to be with your family while he is deployed?

Welcome, Krista. My son, Colin, has been stationed on the Gridley since before it was completely built. We went to the ship's commissioning ceremony in Miami last year. Now, we are about to head out to meet the ship for the tiger cruise!! Colin loves living in the San Diego area. Are you and your husband both from Austin? Do you happen to know the Tjon family?

So glad you three are all together. Hope ya'll will be really happy there. I will keep checking for new baby pics!
Justin will finish with school the end of Dec. and then join his ship the USS Gridley, Jan. 3rd. They are suppose to ship out in May.
Justin & Krista are really enjoying San Diego.....I will miss not having them home for Christmas :( Justin's grandmother and aunt plan to visit them for Christmas, so at least they will have family there.
