Of course I will let your son know the situation.  I just pray that you are going to be there.  My cell number is 330-221-2367.  We will keep tabs on each other.  I know it is very slushy and snowy in Ohio.  We are starting out early in the morning.  If we can't make the meet and greet, then we call each other on the phone.  I know you must be very upset, just try to be calm.  It will be ok.............  :)

I know the weather is looking worse everyday.  Here is the number for the lockers.  I didn't call there I just thought we would take care of it once we got there.  847-578-0161. If you call can you let me know the hours of this place.  Thanks so much.  I am anxious to meet you face to face on Thursday.  I get teary eyed everytime I think about this exciting weekend.

I'm so glad you got to see your son's photo. He looks so handsome!

Here's wishing you safe travels without any delays and/or complications. I'll see you on Thursday at the meet 'n greet.

Leigh Ann,

I see Debbie left you info about the lockers.  Let me know if you need anything else.  I am so excited to meet you on Thursday.  It is hard to concentrate at work today.  I am so anxious for the weekend.

Hi Leigh Ann...did you ever get the info on the storage units near the base?  Their web address is thelockandgo.com and they are located right by the base.  Not a bad deal, $5 per day, my son will be checking into school on Wednesady the 19th so we will put his things into storage on the 16th before we leave and he can pick it up a few days later.  Have a safe trip and we will meet you soon!

Leigh Ann, I am going to bring all his stuff because we can rent those lockers that are walking distance from A school.  I would rather do that then ship all his electronics.  We are getting so close

I was wondering if they get Monday off for the holiday.  That makes me sad too.  I want to stay on Monday but my daughter has to be back home by Sunday night to be at work on Monday.  :(

My son is also going to A school across the street.  He told me that he was a Grad and Go like your son, but the other mother who's son joined with my son on the buddy system says no.  I guess, I'll know when I get there, but I really wanted him overnight. :(  I'll pack his bag, we could always rent a locker for him to store it in. Just in case he has to go back to boot camp....

Also, my son never said when he was doing BS21.  From what I can figure, I think it will be on Monday (?).  Did anyone ever get back to you about what civilian clothes to pack?  I am just going to pack a few outfits and I guess he can decide what he wants to take.  I thought he was Grad and Go, but another mom said he isn't.  So who knows????

I know, Leigh Ann, this is so exciting.  I am so proud of these boys/girls.  I am packing my stuff over the weekend.  I have a list ready to check off.  I am praying about the weather too since we are driving.  My son sounds very good in his letters.  He was hoping for a promotion too.  I saw pictures of him at Chrstmas time and he looked amazing and happy.  I can't wait to see all the ladies at Meet and Greet.  I hope I will be there in time.  :)
