Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
Waiting to leave for Boot Camp
When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

I am feeling like a ball lost in high weeds! lol I have a question. Are we allowed to go to any PIR Groups we want, or will we be told which one to go to?

PIR this past Friday was so great!  I have never seen anything like it before and I could not be more proud of my son!  Just got back home from Chicago last night.  They didn't waist any time shipping them off to A School.  My son is now in PCola!  It was so nice meeting the people that I did.  Sarge's Meet and Greet was so very informative and helpful, with the short cut as to getting on the base, especially!  For all you who went to  the NEX, I apologize for buying everything that sais NAVY! lol  Have to represent!  Such a proud momma!

Hey Leslie! My husband is ship 03 div 337 =) How old is your son?? Hope he is doing well.

I have received 3 letters from my husband Nathan and was lucky enough to answer the phone call from him on Sep 12th!! He had his wisdom teeth removed and bronchitis when I talked to him. He was pretty down on the call and the letter he wrote right before the call, but in the next letter (9-16) he said he was doing much better since he was able to talk to me. Sorry you missed your call =( I was assuming I wouldn’t be able to answer mine.

I live in Oklahoma City, Ok. I cannot wait until PIR either!! I am soo excited!! I did hear about the fight or whatever it was. Nathan didn’t mention it in his letter but I asked him about it in the next one I wrote. I love this site too! Mom’s seem to obtain more info than gf’s or spouses can lol. I hope to go to the meet and greet too. Won’t know til closer to time though bc we are driving so it depends on what time we get there =)

Hope we both get letters today!!

I probably would on this site. Just to be consistent. But if his last name is different, don't worry too much about it.

It takes awhile to learn to navigate this site.  By the way, she should probably change your screen name since it appears to include your real last name. Just click on SETTINGS on the upper right. The page that pops up will show "username"  change yours to something more generic.  Typically, we discourage use of real last names because it could be trace back to your recruit.  (I know. I know. Facebook is all real names).

Take care.
