Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Luci - if you need any help trying to locate a ship don't hesitate to reach out to myself, partyofseven, or BelovedbyHim. Since you and Party are "friends" she might be the best source for information and even help with FB as I believe she is on and I am not.

I apologize, looking through your previous posts on the group, I see you were going through a lot of this when I was in the middle of buying a house and my own things. I wish I had more answers for you.

Luci I replied to your question on BC Mom group. I would encourage you to join the Beyond BC - Navy For Moms (ning.com) group. If you  have trouble joining, reply to my comment and ask for help. The page is closed to public view and you can be a little more specific with your question, or general and then see if someone can friend you or help you out more.

I just checked and you are almost 4 hours north of us. And if your son ever gets stationed at our Naval Hospital here in Va. Bch. I'm sure he will come home more frequently than most Sailors. :) And you can visit him also. However, in between times he would be welcome to come over to our home on the weekends. :) I sent you a message to check out our page on this site, so you know what we have been doing for our Sailors for the past 20 years.

Luci, I don't know the answer to your question but I wanted to post here so that you can always find me via my chipmunk picture. Any of us, you can click on our profile picture and it will take you to our page.

Partyofseven has an HM, she might be able to find out the information for you. All the best and prayers for your sailor. Glad you posted on the BC Mom group!

Awesome!  Thank you.  I'm looking forward to hearing more news from you since you're a few weeks ahead of me!

Hi Luci,

That is great news!  I'm hoping for both of us that they reopen the ceremony.  My daughter is a week in.  So it took about 4 weeks to get the letter?
