OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi, sorry i haven't responded sooner, I've been trying to keep myself busy. We made our travel arrangements. My husband, daughter, me, and my brother and his family are going to fly out of Houston, with continental about $200 round trip. That will be an adventure in itself my borther and his wife have twin girls 3 mo old. We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express Deerfield. I think Travelocity had the best prices. Got a letter from Jacob last Thursday, he seems good, said they ate grilled salmon for dinner last Sunday. I hope they get to write tomorrow. I hope you are doing well, talk with you later...... take care
