Hi Patrat-Ship04-Div223, maybe it is my son. We can't mention names here but his last name begins with L. Who knows, it might be him. He did say about 18 kids left Colorado for bootcamp in May so it could also be any one of them. Our converstion today was really quick. He didn't have much time and we were just walking in the door. Wish we could have spoken more. Thanks for letting me know their division is doing well. I am still trying to figure out my way around all these websites and message boards!
I am sorry patrat, I am hoping still. i of course will let you know. I was hoping i was making it happen by creating positive thoughts. Ok, so tomorrow you will get yours I hope. If I don't get one today I will hope for tomorrow!
Today is Monday and I can feel it... there will be a letter today! I just know it. Some other moms reported to have gotten one on Saturday, same div and ship # as ours so lets all share when ours come today (can you tell I am counting on it) LOL So cannot wait. I miss my son terribly!
I am also very nervous after reading some of the things people have posted that they have recieved. I am hearing a lot about Band aids, Is it ok to send them with our letters? I bought a huge roll of Mole Skin and was going to send it in my letters but I do not want to get my son in trouble. Do you know if it is ok. I would like to send some in each letter so he can share with others for their blisters.
It is Sunday morning and I am praying AGAIN for a phone call. No mail on Sundays so no chance of that. I wake up in the morning and he is the first thing I think about, i look at the clock and think about what time it is there and what he is doing and tears come to my eyes b/c all i want is to hear his voice.
Oh my goodness, what i would give to hear my son's voice. Your husband is lucky and I wish it had been you that answered. I know how us moms feel. Lets keep each other posted on letters etc.. Maybe today? I am praying for us all to get letters from our loved ones.
If it would help, I'll fax you my form letter so you can see what's coming. Also, I mean no disrespect, but at the last moment my son wrote down our address because he wasnt sure if he could remember it! They dont write letters anymore, so is there a chance your son transposed something. So sorry,....message me back a fax number & it's done.
Debbie
I feel the same about the birthday.....I always made too big of a deal about my boys birthdays. I wonder if they will even know it is their birthdays with so much going on?
